Whale Watching Tour April 18th 2010

We had a great day on the water, sunny skies and calm seas. It was a long run to the Transient Orca Whales but very worth it. When we arrived the mammal eating orcas had just made a kill and were celebrating. After they finished, they started traveling again

We then headed for Whale Rocks to see if any Stellar Sea Lions were there, we smelled the Stellars well before we saw them. The were about 25 basking in the afternoon sun.

On the way home we picked up about a dozen Dall's Porpoises who decided to play in the bow wave of our boat and we had some great looks.

It was a perfect afternoon on the water with a wonderful family from Mexico
