Shannon, at Ocean Ecoventures

Shannon Office

Shannon joined Ocean EcoVentures in 2015 as a part time guest representative taking bookings and running our gift shop two days a week. It’s not a job for Shannon and she really had ulterior motives; to get out to watch and photograph our amazing whales and wildlife of the Salish Sea as much as possible.

Shannon was lucky enough to spend some time with Luna L98 one of our Southern Resident Killer Whales that was separated from his pod in the early 2000’s. He became very friendly with people after being separated from his family and Shannon and her family spent a great day with him on the westcoast of Vancouver Island.

Another self-confessed Orcaholic, Shannon who just can’t get enough of the whales of the Salish Sea. She often tries to convince the captains to stay out overnight with whales rather than heading home for the night!
