Our 3.5 to 4 hour Private Whale & Wildlife Adventures are the perfect way to get out and witness the whales and wildlife of the Salish Sea with you friends and family. Watching whales swim into the sunset is nothing short of magical. The evening light is perfect for the photographer your family.

Our Sunset Whale and Wildlife Adventures are our staff’s favourite adventures! Our 3.5-4 hour Sunset Adventures are operate daily from mid June to mid September. Our Sunset Whale and Wildlife Adventures focus on Orcas, Transient Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Grey Whales and Minke Whales. You will also encounter Sea Lions, Bald Eagles, Harbour Seals, Dalls and Harbour Porpoise as well as a myriad of marine birds on your whale watching eco tour.

We can accommodate groups of upto 12 Guests on our Sunset Whale and Wildlife Private Charters.

PROWLER - FOUNTAIN CENTER CONSOLE 11M

Charter Vessel Prowler: Prowler is the newest and largest vessel in our fleet measuring in at 11 meters or 34 feet. She is the fastest whale watching vessel in BC and is powered with two cleaning burning Mercury 400 horsepower outboards. Prowler comes equipped with Shockwave suspension seating, an onboard washroom, full electronics and a hydrophone to listen to the whales. Prowler is extremely comfortable with lots of additional room for a maximum of 12 guests.

 

Prowler is a great platform for viewing and photographing wildlife, similar to our other vessels. Prowler has a small onboard washroom. She is powered by Mercury 400 horsepower outboards. Prowler has state of the art electronics, radios and a hydrophone to listen to the whales.

Travel the calm waters of the Salish Sea in search of Orcas, Biggs Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Gray Whales and Minke Whales. You also have the chance to encounter Sea Lions, Bald Eagles, Harbour Seals, Dalls and Harbour Porpoise as well as a myriad of marine birds on your whale watching eco tour.

Our Cowichan Bay location has the Highest Orca Sightings Record in British Columbia due to our central location on eastern Vancouver Island. We often encounter Orcas right in Cowichan Bay! We also encounter Humpback Whales on many of our tours from Cowichan Bay.

We extend a free stand-by tour to the few passengers who do not see whales on their tour. Our whale guarantee is a complimentary, non-transferable and on a stand-by basis. Our Whale Guarantee is not species specific.

We read about this company on trip advisor and made our reservations.The tour certainly lived up to the worthy praise that preceded it. We saw a pod of something like 30 whales!! Plus a smaller pod of 3 before that. Also porpoises, seals & eagles. It was beautiful and the guide was absolutley excellent. He was organized, informative & friendly. The boat was also great: an inflatable just like what the coast guard uses. It skips right over the water & enables you to feel far fewer rock & rolls than an ordinary boat does, which is really good for someone like me, who does get seasick! Also really appreciated that there were just 8 of us instead of a whole mob of people as we saw on other whale watch boats. This really is worth a trip no matter where you are on the island and it is suitable for children.
