Andy
Andy was born in Brandon, Manitoba, and spent most of his life in Alberta. A family vacation to Vancouver Island in the ’90s sparked a lifelong passion when a whale watching trip out of Victoria left a lasting impression. From that moment on, Andy returned to the Island every summer, sometimes taking multiple trips each season.
In 2017, he made the move to Vancouver Island, earned his licenses, and began working as a whale watching guide—a role he’s loved ever since. His favourite part of the job is seeing the awe and excitement on people’s faces as they experience the beauty of the ocean and its wildlife.
When he’s not out on the water, Andy enjoys working on his acreage or heading into the backcountry to explore in his Jeep.
